Best Time to Visit the UAE — Month by Month

Planning · 6 min read · By the FindYourDubai team

There's no wrong time to visit the UAE — only different UAEs. Here's what each part of the year looks like so you can pick yours.

November to March — the golden window

Daytime 24–30°C, cool evenings, every outdoor attraction open. This is peak season: expect the best weather and the highest hotel prices. December and January are ideal for desert camping and beach days; book tours a few days ahead.

April, May, October — the smart shoulder

Warm (32–38°C) but very doable, with hotel prices dropping fast. Mornings and evenings are lovely; plan indoor attractions for midday. October is arguably the single best value month in Dubai.

June to September — indoor season (with one big exception)

The UAE summer is hot, but the cities are built for it: malls, Ski Dubai, Museum of the Future, aquariums and some of the year's best hotel deals. And here's the secret — this is exactly when Salalah in Oman turns green. The Khareef monsoon makes June–September the perfect time for our Salalah coach tour: 25°C, mist and waterfalls, a 5-day escape from the heat.

Events worth planning around

Dubai Shopping Festival (Dec–Jan), the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (late Nov), Ramadan's unique evening atmosphere (dates shift yearly), and National Day celebrations on 2 December.
